BOOK CLUB

When Trevor and I were promoting Everybody Hurts, we had the amazing opportunity to speak on a panel with the even more amazing Josh Kilmer-Purcell. He wrote an incredibly touching and hilarious memoir called I Am Not Myself These Days and instantly fell in love. Not only was he someone who I both admired and envied (I mean, HELLO? Have you seen the size of homeboy’s waist? It would make Vivien Leigh jeal!) but he was also a total riot. You know you’ve made a bond for life when you talk about anal plugs and prostate glands during your first hang sesh, right?

Josh’s second book (and first novel) comes out in a little under two weeks and I am so excited for him. It’s called Candy Everybody Wants and I will actually be taking a copy with me to NYC tomorrow to read on the plane. I advise you to do the same (regardless on whether you’re on a plane and stuff).
